Poems By Carl

Welcome to a place where words become keepsakes. I’m Carl, a creator of custom poems, and handcrafted plaques inspired by any stories, people, and landscapes. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, honouring someone special, or gifting something truly one‑of‑a‑kind, I craft pieces meant to last—emotionally and physically. Every poem is written just for you, shaped with care, and engraved onto wood that feels as meaningful as the message itself.

Carl's Poems

Many Years, Our Friend, Our Dog.

For many years he walked our days,
through sunlit paths and cloudy haze,
a loyal friend with gentle grace
who filled each quiet, empty space.

He chased our laughter through the air,
slept by our feet without a care,
and somehow knew, in every part,
the secret map of every heart.

He aged the way good dogs will do—
soft steps, grey fur, a calmer view.
He tried to stay, he tried to be
the strength we leaned on faithfully.

But then the house grew still and wide,
his bowl untouched, his bed aside.
The silence felt too sharp to bear,
a missing heartbeat everywhere.

Yet love like his will never fade;
it lingers in the life he made,
forever walking by our side—
our faithful friend, our gentle guide.

The Eagle

High above the whispering trees,
the eagle rides the mountain breeze,
a guardian set on feathered wings
who watches over living things.

Its shadow sweeps the valley floor,
a quiet promise to restore
the balance nature holds so dear,
kept steady when the eagle’s near.

With eyes that catch the smallest sign,
it moves with purpose, calm, divine,
a symbol of the wild and free,
of strength in silent majesty.

And when the sun ignites its flight,
turning bronze to molten light,
we pause in awe, our spirits stirred—
for few can match this noble bird.

The eagle soars so all may thrive,
a wonder keeping earth alive,
a timeless force in sky’s embrace,
the beating heart of nature’s grace.

God

Morning drifts with golden grace. God walks through sacred space
Light warms the waiting land. Peace blooms where mercies stand

He lifts hearts worn and low. Gentle winds begin to blow
Hope hums in quiet air. Soft comfort settles there

Rivers shine beneath His gaze. Deserts bloom in tender ways
Stars lean close to hear. Night sings when He is near

His presence heals the broken. Love rests in every token
Shadows fade beneath His light. All things rise in His sight

The Little King of Wings

In the hush of morning’s silver light,
A tiny king begins his flight—
A jeweled spark, a heartbeat’s ring,
The sky bows low before its king.

He rules no throne of stone or gold,
No kingdom vast, no legends told;
Yet every blossom seems to know
The sovereign of the nectar’s glow.

With emerald cloak and ruby crest,
He guards the valley he loves best;
A gentle reign, a quiet art—
He rules the world by touching hearts.

He hums his anthem soft and clear,
A song that every soul can hear;
A reminder, whispered on the breeze,
That greatness lives in small degrees.

So, when he darts from bloom to bloom,
A streak of joy through garden’s room,
We lift our eyes, and love takes wing—
For all adore this little king.

A Daughter’s Mother’s Day Tribute

Mom, you are my steady light,
my gentle guide through day and night.
You lift me up when life feels tall,
and offer love that never falls.

You taught me strength wrapped up in grace,
a softer heart, a safer place.
Your wisdom shaped the way I grow—
far more than you could ever know.

Through every change and every start,
you’ve been the calm inside my heart.
Your laugh, your care, your tender way
still brighten even my hardest day.

So here I stand, with love so true,
a grateful daughter honoring you.
Today and always, come what may,
I love you more than words can say.
